You Can’t Drown Your Troubles

Hello all you drinkers out there

I’m a drinker too

Like you, I drink too many when

There’s nothing else to do

When I have a lot of troubles

The solution I can find

Is to sit down with a bottle

And drink them off my mind

If they stay in there I just drink more

Hoping they will drown

But they just put their speedos on

And really go to town

Now I don’t want to dash your hopes

But you’re not gonna win

-But don’t worry-

You can’t drown your troubles

But you can teach them to swim
